Serving the Community


The University Speech and Hearing Clinic of Eastern Washington University and Washington State University provides comprehensive and evidence-based speech/language pathology and audiology services to the Spokane community.  Comprehensive services for evaluations and therapy in speech, language and hearing in adults, adolescents, children and infants are provided.

Services are provided by graduate students under direct supervision of state licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists.  Graduate student clinicians complete extensive academic and clinical preparation prior to working with clients and patients.

Referrals
The Clinic accepts referrals directly from clients, physicians, educators, and other allied health service providers.  A physician’s order may be required for insurance coverage.

Clinic Schedule
The Clinic is open during academic semesters.

Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We are closed for holidays and during university breaks.

Fees and Insurance Information


Payment methods include third party reimbursement, cash, checks and MasterCard or Visa. We bill most major insurance companies. Please call the clinic for a current fee schedule and payment options. Contact the clinic to inquire about specific insurance and payment needs.

The University Speech and Hearing Clinic is located in downtown Spokane campus. Parking for clients is available in the clinic lot directly adjacent to the Health Sciences Building. Use the pay stations in parking lots.  (No coins)
