Chris Jenkins believes Eastern has given him a strong background in geology, which has allowed him to explore the many career paths within the field of study.

Cecelia Villa studies chemistry at EWU, and loves how the professors in the Chemistry Department prepare their students for success in the classroom and for when they enter the field.

Carmen Schluter is pursuing her master’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in exercise science. She’s enjoyed how the program has allowed her to work with a lot of different faculty members to see different styles of teaching and build long-lasting connections.

Bdoor Al Aqeel is a student at the Eastern Washington University English Language Institute. She loves the supportive, optimistic professors who encourage her to improve her English, as well as the small, friendly town of Cheney.

Ashley Vaughn is studying art at Eastern Washington University. She thinks Eastern is great place to be because of the faculty and how open they are to give feedback, as well as their investment in students’ success.

Ashley Jhaveri always enjoyed engaging people and learning about how different cultures interact, and studying VCD has allowed her to explore the impact design has on everyone’s lives.

Akelia Lewis said Eastern has been the best thing that has ever happen to her, and that the community has helped her grow academically, socially and professionally.

Abbey Homan loves how Eastern campus feels small, while being big enough to explore many different opportunities. For her, everyone in the Theatre Department has been supportive and helped her achieve her best.

What began as an experimental course for business and marketing education students, has transformed into one of the hottest courses on campus.
