Annual Holiday Concert

November 3, 2018 By Will Hall

In support of EWU student scholarships, join us Saturday, November 24, 2018 for the 6th Annual Encanto Holiday Concierto presented by Eastern Washington University, directed by Adrian Olivas.

The Encanto Music program, founded by José Iñiguez, proudly presents an evening of unique music that pairs the beauty of Opera Aria and classical piano with the charm of Mariachi Bolero. Headlining the event is award-winning opera and bolero Tenor, José Iñiguez and Seattle Opera and American Soprano Linda Mattos. Linda has played roles like Rosina in the Barber of Seville, Mrs. Ford in the Merry Wives of Windsor, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Nedda in I Pagiacci and Violetta in La Traviata. The program also features the award-winning Mariachi Huenachi from Wenatchee, WA; the all-new Encanto Orchestra is conducted by Classical Pianist Jeremy Neufeld and leading the Encanto Orchestra Violist Eddie Nicholson and featuring vocalist and musician from the Banda Vagos César Amáral.
